In 2007, when Instituto Perene was founded, with the objective of taking eco-efficient stoves to the Recôncavo Baiano, Natura, through the Greenhouse Gas Emissions Neutralization Program, was the first company to believe that these stoves could part of that purpose.
The technology, still little known in Brazil, came from a similar project developed by the founder of the Instituto Perene in Nicaragua and Honduras. A work that was developed in partnership with the NGO, Climate Care, from the United Kingdom, to scientifically certify the impacts of the eco-efficient stove in the reduction of greenhouse gases.
